want your own dude? go to walmart.

the dude was mounted on a rod and held by
scott & ron while we all prayed for the
absolute calm required for launching.

a wonderful shot of the empty rail the dude
has just vacated. the photographer manque missed
the excellent photo-op presented when ron held
the dude upright as it blasted off.
ron has huevos of steel.

many rockets went up

many rockets came down. unfortunately, 3 didn't come
down all the way to the ground and remain in the trees.
sadly, our loc IV was among those sacrificed.

many thanks to our fellow rocketeers in NAR section 566 for making our first launch season with them so much fun. thanks, too, to everyone who let us borrow scissors, tape and the like. we promise to practice packing our rocket box (or, more appropriately, not stealing supplies from our rocket box once it's packed). we look forward to the spring and seeing what everyone builds over the winter - especially theo (who scares me).
